Violence, brutality, and the misuse of power are expressed in this collection. Awareness of the exploitation involved with mining for diamonds is promoted through the colors, design, and textures of these garments. Collaborating with textile students to design and create jacquard fabrics that exemplify the war going on over diamonds. The coat fabric is inspired by the rough textures of diamond mines. The blue and gray fabric of the pants are inspired by bullets. Elongated and textured to look like the structure of a diamond.
